Former political prisoners requires from the President of the Republic to not decree Fatmir Xhafaj as the new Minister of Interior Affairs.

In a letter sent to the head of state, they argue that Xhafaj was an investigator during communism and he violated the human rights. The letter signed from Besim Ndregjoni, underlines that his proposal from the Government is a shame for the 100.000 families which suffer the furious dictatorship in Europe.

"Mr. President, do not decree the former investigator of communism as Minister of Interior. Mr. President do not decree Fatmir Xhafaj. Albania need another republic without criminals in politics," ends the letter.
