Hunters Association request for the abrogation of the hunting moratorium was overruled by Constitutional Court. 

This moratorium remains in force for another 5-years period of time. The hunters expressed their dissatisfaction for this decision, considering this a violation of their rights to exercise the activity of hunting. 

They warned of addressing to the Strasbourg Court for this issue resolution. Hunters Federation argued in front of the court that this moratorium is a severe violation of their rights to exercise this activity. 

Anyway, according to the experts a two-year implementation of this moratorium was not sufficient for an optimal increase of every kind of bird or animal number, thus moratorium postponement was deemed more than necessary. 

Hunting moratorium was approved on June 2, 2016, and will remain in force until 2021.
