The head of Democratic Party (DP) parliamentary group, Edi Paloka warned of violent reaction by the opposition on Monday if Prime Minister, Edi Rama will enter his office after June 18 without people’s consent.

“We will reply with any form of protest, dragging him out of the office. Let him dare to do so by violating people’s free will,” said Paloka, adding that opposition will continue to boycott the parliament because according to him the “Freedom’s Tent” is the real parliament.

“We are already in parliament, defending the Albanian citizens’ interests. If they want to see the judicial reform implementation let them resign and clear the path to a caretaker government. Internationals support toward the opposition’s protest is growing on a daily basis. EU Council of Ministers declaration spoke clearly defining the reforms, free and fair elections and fight against cannabis cultivation as key elements for negotiations opening,” said Paloka.
