Speaker of Parliament, Ilir Meta reacted on Thursday over the Macedonia’s president, George Ivanov decision not to allow the establishment of a new executive presided by Zoran Zaev, due to the Albanian platform. He expressed his regret for this anti-Albanian nationalistic rhetoric.

“I express my concern over the aggravated political situation in Macedonia, while encouraging all political forces in the neighboring country for peace, responsibility and constructiveness. 

I also regret the anti-Albanian nationalistic rhetoric that infringes the ethnic harmony and co-existence as warranty for the neighbor country’s stability. 

I hope that all institutional and political actors will show commitment toward Macedonia’s democratic and Euro-Atlantic progress,” declared Speaker Meta.
