The leader of the opposition, Lulzim Basha promised on Wednesday to create a National Gendarmerie when DP will come to power. 

On the twelfth day of the protest, he said that part of the new republic will be even the Gendarmerie.

“National Gendarmerie will be established with the contribution of thousands of young boys and girls that have the necessary preparation and amenability to hand over country’s reins along with State Police. Order and security will be restored, with zero compromise and tolerance toward the organized crime,” said the opposition’s leader.

Speaking even for the narcotics cultivation in a large scale Basha accused that the left wing executive was captured by the crime.

“The old republic was captured by the organized crime and became a den of crime. In only four years they managed to destroy the state placing it at the service of the criminals. The process began with the State Police highest ranks officials discharge. ‘Carte Blanche’ was given to the criminals enabling them to effectuate honest officers cleansing and appoint individuals connected to the crime and drug gangs in the highest levels of State Police,” said Basha.
