Serious Crimes Court issued on Thursday the ‘remand in custody’ as security measure for Dash Kupa, the 6th member of a criminal gang that stole USD 3.2 million of a 2nd level bank on February 9. This conspicuous sum of money was stolen from two armored vehicles of a private security company in the road to Rinas.

Kupa was arrested two days ago in Morina border crossing while trying to flee to Kosovo. So far he has denied any involvement in this armed robbery. He has been identified as one of the leader of this criminal gang by Admir Çerpja, one of 6 arrested for their involvement in this criminal episode.

Meantime another main component of this gang, Admir Murataj, remains still wanted by the police.
