Another component of the criminal gang that stole USD 3.2 Million of a 2nd level bank from two armored vehicles in the road to Rinas was arrested on Tuesday by the police. Dash Kupa, 41, born in Kruja, was arrested in Morina border-crossing while trying to flee in Kosovo.

He was immediately escorted to Tirana police directory where will now undergo a detailed interrogation by the case’ inquirers. 

Neim Avdulaj, Fation Xhyliu, Ditjon Memlika, Ernest Kupa and Admir Çerpja have been arrested on ground of their alleged involvement in these armed robberies. Their arrest followed the robbery on February 9 of USD 3.2 million of a 2nd level bank during the transportation with two armored vehicles in the road to Rinas. 

Meantime, Admir Murataj, deemed one the gang’s main components, is still wanted by the police.
