As the 10th president election looms it seems that majority seems determined to say �No� to a candidate proposed by Democratic Party. Speaking over this issue The Minister of State for Local Government, Bledi �u�i declared that no candidacy presented by Democratic Party would be accepted. 

�I can�t say the names of the future candidates, but I am more than sure that country�s next president�s election will not be based on a DP candidacy,� declared �u�i, putting an end to the rumors over a possible compromise with political adversaries. 

The last stressed that Socialist Party cannot allow the election of a president coming from DP, adding that even the President of the Republic, Bujar Nishani chances for a 2nd mandate are inexistent. 

10th President of the Republic may be elected by the parliament from March 28 until May 2, during five rounds. The names of Speaker of Parliament, Ilir Meta, Defense Minister, Mimi Kodheli and Vice-Parliament Speaker, Valentina Leskaj are rumored for this post, despite the fact that no official candidacy has been presented so far.
