State Police seized 2.212 kg of Cannabis Sativa last night during two separate anti-drug raids in Lezha and Tepelena. 

The first anti-drug raid, coded “Adriatic” took place in Ishem River and led to the seizure of a speedboat loaded with 1.450 ton of cannabis sativa. This raid was the result of a successful cooperation between the Border Police, Lezha and Kurbin police forces.

The 2nd raid was conducted in Dhemblan, Tepelena by the anti-narcotics officers in collaboration with Tepelena police forces and was finalized with the seizure of around 762 kg of narcotics. The narcotics quantity was uncovered during a house inspection. The narcotics quantity owner, whose identity has not been revealed, managed to elude capture and was immediately declared wanted by the police.
