A State Commission composed by the highest ranks officials and distinct figures of the academic world coordinated on Sunday the ceremonial in honor of the writer Dritero Agolli. The decision to establish a State Commission was taken one day ago during the executive’s meeting. The ceremonial includes a number of element that commemorate Agolli, defined the colossus of Albanian literature, and the chance for friends, artists, readers and fans to extend a brief farewell message during the homage in front of his coffin. 

Dritero Agolli passed away at the age of 85 due to a severe pulmonary disease. For nearly 5 decades he was one of the most beloved figures of the Albanian literature.
