Nine Judicial Appointments Council (JAC) members were selected by lot on Friday among 52 candidacies submitted by 4 institutions, Constitutional Court, Supreme Court, High Council of Justice (HJC) and General Prosecution Office (GPO).

This lot was deemed an important moment of the judicial reform implementation by Speaker of Parliament, Ilir Meta, which attended the entire process. 

The results of this lot drawn in Parliament’s premise are listed below:

Besnik Imeraj and Vladimir Kristo were selected from the Constitutional Court candidacies. Altina Xhoxhaj was selected as substitute member.

Mirela Fana was selected from the Supreme Court candidacies. Artan Zeneli was selected as substitute member.

Rovena Gashi was selected from the GPA candidacies

GentianTrenova was selected from the Appeal Prosecution candidacies. Fatjona Memçaj was selected as substitute candidate.

Brikena Ukperaj Lubonja and Ervin Metalla were selected from the Court of Appeals.

Kastriot Selita and Gentian Medja were selected from the Administrative Court candidacies.
