The Albanian Parliament announced on Wednesday the lot for the selection of the Judicial Appointment Council members, whose list has been submitted to the President of the Republic, Bujar Nishani for the final approval.  

Members’ selection by lot was based on the lists submitted to the Parliament by the respective institutions, in accordance to the article 284 of the law 115/2016 “For the judicial system governing bodies”. This list includes the names of 22 Constitutional Court judges, which according to the article 222 of this law fulfill the criteria to be member of the Justice Appointment Council.

Their names are listed below:

Bashkim Dedja;Vladimir Kristo;Vitore Tusha;Altina Xhoxhaj;Fatmira Hoxha;Gani Dizdari;Fatos Lulo;Besnik Imeraj.

Meantime the names of Supreme Court judged that fulfill the criteria to become members of this council are as follow:Arjana Fullani;Andi Çeliku;Aleksander Muskaj;Guxim Zenelaj;Edmond Islamaj;Mirela Fan;Medi Bici;Shkelzen Selimi;Artan Zeneli;Admir Thanza;Tom Ndreca;Artan Broci;Ardian Dvorani.
