Lorik Cana seems to be even closer to Marseille, despite the fact that he is no longer part of the active football. Former team leader of the Albanian National Team has been invited by the club’s board of directors to attend a match between Marseille and Monaco, along some ex-players that left their mark in team’s history.

Since the Euro 2016 finals, where Cana played his last matches, he has been often seen in Marseille’s activities. Rumors over a new adventure with this club, this time in quality of directing staff members, have become more frequent these days. Anyway, Cana who has been following a UEFA course for future coaches and has been awarded the UEFA “A” license, has not officially abandoned the soccer’s field.
