Opposition Signs Memorandum: Electronic Voting and Counting, Essential Condition

The opposition’s coalition signed on Monday a memorandum demanding fair and free elections on June 18 through electronic voting and counting processes as an essential condition.

This memorandum signature followed a meeting of the opposition’s coalition, which was attended even by the leader of Unity for Human Rights Party (UHRP), Vangjel Dule.

This meeting was held before the first Parliamentary Session of this legislation, while earlier Democratic Party (DP) warned its attitude radicalization as long as this request fails to be fulfilled.

Democrat MPs will participate briefly on the parliamentary season re-opening session, so that DP group chair, Edi Paloka may officially announce the opposition’s attitude. This conditional relationship is expected to be confirmed during the parliamentary group meeting and that of the DP directorate.
