Democratic Party (DP) representatives accused the executive on Saturday of totally neglecting Puka district failing to assist the inhabitants of the isolated areas. DP Secretary for Civil Action, Edvin Salianji denounced during a meeting with isolated areas inhabitants their total abandonment by the executive.

“The continuous appeals of the isolated areas inhabitants calling for help have been followed by a lack of reaction from the executive. Many areas of this district are still blocked by the snow while the inhabitants experience multiple difficulties due to the scarce quantities of foods and medicaments. On the other side aid distribution by the executive was limited only to Mark Frroku’s relatives and Mayor Gjoni relatives, also appointed by Frroku,” said Salianji.

He considered a show the Interior Minister, Sajmir Tahiri inspection of the aid distribution process in this district, adding that this was just part of the executive’s propaganda aiming to cover-up the total abandonment of these people by the state.
