The slight increase of the temperatures and the atmospheric conditions improvement brought relief to the Civil Emergencies operational structures operating in the national road axes. Main national axes are passable, while the situation in a number of road axes in the rural areas, especially in the northern area, remains still difficult. The latest bulletin released by the Civil Emergencies on Saturday shows that roads situation is as below:

A number of road axes, part of Shkodra district, remain blocked due to the thick layers of snow. Shkodra - Theth and Shkodra – Shllak - Temal are still blocked by the snow. Snow cleaning vehicles are still at work trying to enable vehicles circulation in these axes.

Laç - Vau i Dejes - Qafe Çele road axis is completely blocked due to a landslide.

Meanwhile the Nation’s Road, part of Kukes district, is passable without snow chains. The use of snow chains is required only in the Kukes - Zapod Bridge - Shishtavec road axis.

On the other side vehicles circulation is normalized in Berat and Vlora district road-axes, while the use of snow chains in Korca district is requested only in some road axes.
