A series of Italian master-pieces of the 1900 have arrived in the National Arts Gallery (NAG) of Tirana. They will be exposed in the first exhibition of this kind that will soon be opened in NAG thanks to a successful cooperation between this art gallery, the Ministry of Culture, Tirana City hall and Prime Ministry. This exhibition’s curators, Maria Catalano, Federica Pirani and Stefano Roffi, stressed that over 100 master-pieces that come from the Modern Art Gallery of Rome aim to illustrate the Italian capital artistic culture in the first half of the 20th century, the languages followed by the artists and the reference movements, passing from Symbolism, Futurism, Neo-Classicism, Roman School and Abstractionism.

“Italian Master-Pieces of the 1900” is the first exhibition of this kind that brings in Albania a number of original paintings from the European museums. This extraordinary collection of the Italian picture of 1900 will be exposed in the NGA halls and may be visited by the art-lovers since January 16.
