Basel midfielder, Taulant Xhaka has become the epicenter of January’s merkato. The interest shown for him from Bundesleague and La Liga is now followed by the interest of Premier League. 

According to the prestigious British Magazine “The Mirror” the 25-years old player is the main objective of London’s team, West Ham. The fact that Xhaka may play as midfielder and defender is highly praised by the Croatian coach of the London team, Slaven Bilic. This element may influence a quick signature of his contract with this team.

The Albanian midfielder’s card value is around EUR 6 million, an easily affordable figure for the British club. If West Ham will present him with a satisfactory bid Taulant may accept the transfer to London, closer to his brother, Granit that plays with Arsenal.
