Over 30.000 travelers and 8.000 vehicles entered Albanian during last 10 days through Durresi harbor. A large number of Albanian and Kosovo emigrants return in the fatherland to spend the holiday’s season with their families. 

Border police raised the alert level aiming the seizure of wanted individuals that may exploit this flux to enter the country without being detected. 

Meanwhile Durresi police increased the patrols’ presence in the streets and public squares aiming to prevent possible terrorist acts during New Year’s celebration.
