Annual Calendar for Tourism in Albania

Ministry of Economic Development, Tourism, Trade and Enterprise will prepare next year an annual calendar for tourism in Albania. This project’s purpose is to highlight the areas with higher chances of tourism development during 365 days of the year. 

This fact was announced by the Minister, Milva Ekonomi during a meeting in the framework of the tourist project “Discovering South’s Mysteries”. This project was implemented by the Books and Promotion Institute, financed by the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Enterprise and German Organization ‘GIZ’. 

The project’s implementation enabled for the first time a connection between Southern and Eastern cultures through a number of activities organized in Tropoja, Himara, Pilur and Kuç. The experience of the mountaineer tourism gained in Valbona will now be exploited in the rural and mountainous areas of Himara guaranteeing a tourist’s flux during 365 days. 

This project includes 15 brochures in Albanian and English languages related to 15 Himara villages that may be visited during each time of the year, like Borsh, Kallarat, Qeparo, Dhërmi, Vranisht, Pilur, Porto Palermo, Vuno, Kudhës, Lukova and Fterra.
