Socialist Party (SP) aims to enter the next year electoral race as part of a coalition with Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI). This declaration was made by Prime Minister, Edi Rama, at the same time SP leader, in his speech in front of the National Assembly.

“We will come out victorious in the next parliamentary elections with a higher number of votes compared to the past elections, and of course the coalition with SMI is our strategic objective. Despite the fact that many urge us to enter alone in this electoral race, due to their numerous complaints against SMI, our movement is strategic and not linked to the specific attitudes of our or their people. We should see this process in the strategic aspect,” said PM Rama, adding that he was fully confident that this strategic alliance would result successful in June’s parliamentary elections.
