DP Protest, Durresi Mayor Resignation Demanded

Democratic Party organized a protest on Monday in front of Durresi City Hall asking for Mayor, Vangjush Dako resignation. Democrats MPs and opposition’s representatives in the Municipal Council blamed Mayor Dako for the recent release from prison of Lulzim Berisha, a known figure of the organized crime in this city.

Meantime Lulzim Berisha’s release thanks to the guarantee given by Mayor Dako and his forewarned employment as a volunteer in this city hall have become subject to investigation by Durresi prosecution office.

The leader of the opposition, Lulzim Basha submitted a written request to Prime Minister, Edi Rama demanding Dako’s urgent discharge.
