The leader of the opposition, Lulzim Basha reacted on Monday over the executive’s decision to forgive the interest on arrears for unpaid bills for electric energy considering this an admission of the damages caused to the citizens during last three years.

“Albanians should be grateful to the fact that 2017 is an electoral year and PM Rama needs their votes. The last will give them something after spending three years focusing only on his personal wealth and his customers’ wealth robbing taxpayers’ money,” said Basha, adding that arrears forgiveness had been requested since two years by the opposition.
