Banja Hidro-Power Plant (HPP), the largest energy work constructed in Albania during last 30 years was inaugurated on Friday through a brief ceremony. Prime Minister, Edi Rama, the Minister of Energetic, Damian Gjiknuri and other official were present during this ceremony.
In his greeting speech PM Rama considered the Banja HPP inauguration a moment that generates hope and optimism for the future.
“This is an historical moment for the entire area, and at the same an excellent model of collaboration between the executive and a foreign company. Banja HPP will provide job opportunities for over 2000 citizens,” said PM Rama.
According to him the Banja HPP construction positively influenced the life of the inhabitants thanks to the construction of a number of roads and a 520 meters long bridge.
