The International Monetary Fund (IMF) approved on Thursday the next tranche of Euro 35.9 Million for Albania. IMF executive board in Washington approved the tranche disbursement under the 8th review of a program approved 3 years ago in collaboration with the Albanian executive.
A sum of Euro 298 million has been disbursed so far by IMF.
On the other side, IMF leaves some recommendations for the executive in relation to the debt and the property tax.
“Fiscal and structural reforms that enable property tax in accordance to the market’s value will strengthen the public finances management. Authorities policies must remain focused on the fiscal regulation by supporting the economic growth through the monetary relief” declared IMF.
