About ALL 3.6 billion were cashed in out of the 4 billion announced in this auction.
Bank of Albania observed that in the first 6 months of 2016, 2-year bonds (which have regular monthly emissions) recorded consecutive decrease, dropping to 1.50% in June, from 1.9% at March.
According to BoA, in the 5-year and 7-year bond auctions, the respective yields dropped to 3.93% and 4:00%, from 4.95% and 4.90% in the previous auction. However the Central Bank notes that interest on bonds reflect market expectations about the course of easing monetary policy.
