Political debate is not the only concern for the
implementation of Judicial Reform in Albania. The bill of this reform seems to
be the real challenge.

Ministry of Finances made recently some
calculations for the budged needed to realize this reform. According to this
institution, the total amount that the Albanian State should pay for all judges
and prosecutors all over the county, seems to be an unaffordable bill.

Only for salaries and social security for all 985
members of justice institutions, Government should pay from the state budged
USD 45 Million.

Referring to the new rules derive from the Judicial
Reform, a judge or a prosecutor should be paid with an average salary of Lek
330.000. Considering the experience and rewards the salaries might go until to
Lek 500.000/ month.
