State Supreme Audit (SSA) made a criminal charge on
Friday against the Chairwoman of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC),
Lefterije Luzi. This institution accused Luzi for abusiveness with her duty and
violation of equality in tenders.

SSA informed that Luzi abused with her duty with the
pilot project of electronic voting and counting during the Parliamentary
Election on 2013. This project should be implemented in two cities Tirana and
Fier, but it totally fails.

According to SSA, despite this fact, CEC paid the
contractor company that was declared winner of the tender Euro 2.5 million. This
institution added that CEC paid the Private Company INDRA, 60% of the value of
the contract for Fier and 70% for Tirana with a total amount of Lek351.171
Million.

SSA believes that both contracts were signed
violating public interest and without considering the recommendations of the
State Attorney. The last recommended the Chairwoman of CEC to change six
articles of the contracts, but she did not accepted.
