Informality Fight Not Through Campaigns – Says Confindustria

Confindustria underlines that the executive agencies efforts for informality fighting should be part of the everyday’s work, not subject to separate campaigns. Minister of Finances Arben Ahmetaj warning for a new inspection campaign focused on the fiscal coupon issuing shows state’s incapacity in law’s implementation. 

Confindustria declare that the positive influence of the executive’s initiative in the fight against informality was infringed by the exclusion from tax payment of the so-called “Small businesses”. Similar populist decisions show politics continuous incapacity to face the necessary process of economy formalization. According to Confindustria Albanian economy has a high level of informality that infringes free concurrency, foreign investments and state’s budget incomes.
