Ibrahim Kodra to Have a Special Museum in Pristina

The great Albanian painter Ibrahim Kodra will soon have his own museum in Kosovo.
Its opening was made known by Prishtina's Municipality, which has signed a memorandum of understanding with the foundation that bears the renowned painter's name.
"Prishtina Municipality will engage to transform the former library "Hivzi Sulejmani", into a cultural space as a long-term exhibition of Ibrahim Kodra's collection. Its projection and the necessary constructions will be made to turn it into a suitable museum object. "Ibrahim Kodra" foundation will offer the original paintings of him for the next 30 years," says Prishtina Municipality. Ibrahim Kodra was born in Ishem, April 22, 1918 and passed away on February 7, 2016 in Milano where he lived for 30 years. Having an extraordinary artistic creation and exhibitions on the world's biggest states, Kodra is described one of the most important painters of all times.
