EU Donates EUR 40 Million for Tourism in Albania

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the European Union will invest EUR 40 million in tourism development in Albania.
The news was made public during a meeting that the Minister of Tourism and Environment, Blendi Klosi had with the EU Ambassador in Tirana, Romana Vlahutin.
According to the last, lowering prices it is not enough for tourism to develop.
"The environment is a big challenge. Do not neglect it. There is a lot to do with the donation from the EU and EBRD. Small and medium businesses are very important to compete in bigger and important markets. This is not easy," said Vllahutin.
