Albania, Lowest Educational Level in the Balkans

Albania ranks at the last place in the Balkans for the educational level.
The most recent data released by Eurostat indicate that only 16.8% of an age group from 30 to 34 years old has completed the studies in Albania. This age group is considered as the most productive or the golden period due to the energies and the experienced gained in the work market.
Montenegro tops the list of the Balkans countries with the highest percentage of educated people in this age group with 31%, followed by Serbia with 27.2%, Macedonia with 24.9%, Turkey with 23.5%, and Bosnia-Herzegovina with 17.2%.
