Democratic Party MP, Eduard Halimi, gives up from his mandate as a Member of Parliament of Democratic Party this Friday.
"For me it was a privilege to be elected for the third time as a Member of Parliament for DP. During these years, I have contributed with full commitment in politics.
Today I give up from the mandate because I am interested in a new project of international private law on a network in the Balkans, a project that is long-term," said Halimi.
He thanked former DP leader, Sali Berisha, who has given to him the opportunity to contribute to the political life these years and Lulzim Basha, for the trust in political duties since 2013.
Halimi was elected as a Democratic Party MP in Berat region in the June 25th elections last year. He was the Minister of Justice when DP was in power.
