The Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI) chairwoman, Monika Kryemadhi labels Albania’s vote in UN as the result of dictate by Premier Edi Rama tutors.

“Government’s attitude toward US resolution for Jerusalem was conditioned by PM Rama fear from his tutors. The December 21 vote in UN was the darkest page on Albania’s foreign affairs history,” declared Kryemadhi on Thursday in parliament.

She stated that Albania should have not joined the vote with the opponents of US resolution.

“This way of doing was a clear infringement of the national interest. The Albanian citizens immediately reacted against this mad decision taken by PM Rama. Even the Albanian Diaspora in the USA immediately objected the Albanian Prime Minister, Rama decision,” said SMI chairwoman, Kryemadhi.
