100 Villages, New Model of Rural Development

A mutual project called "100 villages", of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, the Ministry of Culture, and the Ministry of Tourism and the Environment has been presented on Friday being also present the Prime Minister Edi Rama.
During this presentation, accompanied by information and promotional materials, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Niko Peleshi made public the measures in the support scheme and that this ministry will provide within the program "100 villages”.
Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development will fund for this project a sum of EUR 2.5 million.
-Promoting rural tourism for guesthouses - support up to 50% of the value of the investment, not more than ALL 1 million.
-Supporting the agro touristic activity - support up to 50% of the investment value, not more than ALL 20 million.
-In the protection and promotion of traditional production, the establishment of small workshops - support up to 50% of the value of the investment, not more than ALL 1 million.
-For machinery, other equipment for the production of traditional products - support up to 50% of the purchase value of the equipment.
-Promotion of Start-ups by Young People (22-35) - Grant up to ALL 500 thousand.
-Support for the modernization of Stan’s - support up to 80% of the investment value, no more than ALL 200 thousand.
-Establishment of traditional products incubators - grants with up to 70% of the investment value, no more than ALL 15 million.
-Establish a network of shops with Albanian products - support up to 50% of the value of the investment, but not more than ALL 2 million.
Minister Niko Peleshi has invited all entrepreneurs who want to establish agro-tourism structures to be certified and then apply for the National Scheme.
