UEFA Vice-President in Tirana, Meetings with Rama, Meta and Duka

The vice-president of UEFA, Grigoriy Surkis has arrived in Tirana for a series of meetings with the highest officials. A meeting with Prime Minister, Edi Rama on Thursday started his agenda that will now continue with a meeting with President of the Republic, Ilir Meta.
A meeting with Albanian Football (AFF) President Armando Duka is also part of UEFA vice-president Surkis agenda.
In spite of the fact that the motives of this visit have not been officially announced it is presumed that talks will focus on the elections for the AFF new president. Surkis is expected to ask for elections politicization avoidance in order to leave room for a sportive race between the candidates.
