The Albanian National Team Christian Panucci unveiled his expectations for the imminent match against Scotland in the framework of the League of Nations during an interview for ‘Herald Scotland’.

He recalled the personal success achieved against Scotland in 2007 when he scored a decisive goal for Italy preventing Scotland from reaching the Euro 2008 finals.

“I scored the Italy’s victory goal last time that I played in Scotland. The atmosphere was great, really fantastic. But now in quality of Albania’s coach it will be much more difficult to obtain a victory in Glasgow. I was able to irritate the Scottish fans on 2007 and now I hope to do the same with Albanian team,” said Panucci.

He expressed some positive evaluations while speaking about the Albanian team players.
“We have players that currently play in Germany, Italy and Switzerland. The Albanian team has a multitude of qualitative elements. The team is positively changing on a daily basis,” said coach Panucci.
