Xhacka: Army, Unwavering Comittment Toward Citizens

The Albanian Armed Forces (AAF) remain totally committed to assist the citizens affected by the last weeks floods. The Minister of Defense Olta Xhaçka underlined this fact during the inauguration of two new bridges in Dropull and Delvina constructed by the Army's Corps of Engineers.

"The post-emergency phase is just as important as the reaction in the early hours of emergencies, when some 3,000 AAF troops where deployed throughout the country. Our boys remain on the field since for 4 weeks with the construction of bridges such as that of Darėzeza a few days ago and those in Delvina and Dropull. Some 10 bridges have bee constructed by AA troops since September of this year. We will always be close to everyone in the toughest times helping them to overcome any difficult situation," declared Xhaçka.
Two bridged constructed by the AAF in Dropull and Delvina will serve to over 6.000 inhabitants of these areas by facilitating their connection to the rest of the country.
