The National Opera and Ballet Theater (NOBT) troupe successfully concluded the ‘Nutcracker’ ballet presentation in Korça’s “Andon Zako Çajupi” amid warm applauses of the audience.
The famous ballet with music of Tchaikovsky was brought on the stage with choreography by Enada Hoxha and Gert Vaso, while the costumes and the scene were among the most beautiful elements of this show. The public was immersed into a fairy-tale world experiencing joy and magic.
This ballet was presented in Korça as part of ‘Opera on Tour’ initiative.
“Nutcracker’ is based on “Nutcracker and King Mouse” story written by E.T.A. Hoffman. This ballet was presented for the first time on stage in Russia’s Imperial Theater on 1892. It quickly became the most popular ballet, not only in Russia but also in the West, especially during Christmas.
