Osumi River Overflows, Berati's Citizens at Risk

After Vjosa even Osumi River overflows late this Friday. The water overflowed into the city streets causing the first damages.
Meteorologists warned the inhabitants a day ago, fearing that this situation will happen and considering Vjosa and Osumi Rivers as the most 'dangerous'.
The Civil Emergency Committee decided early this day to start evacuation of the citizens who lives in the villages of Vlora due to the Vjosa River overflow to prevent a catastrophe.
The evacuation process started for the families, near the river. The residents are currently sheltered in the Sport Palace and at the Dormitory of Industrial School
