Bad Weather, Civil Emergencies Raise the Alarm

Massive rainfalls that are expected to be registered during the next days may be followed by floods in a number of cities.
The alarm was given on Wednesday by the Civil Emergencies and was based on a weather forecast presented by the Institute of Geosciences, Energy, Water and Environment (IGEWE).

According to the Civil Emergencies Tirana, Lezha, Durres, Korça, Berat, Vlora, Fier and Gjirokastra are among most endangered cities due to the rainfalls high intensity during the incoming days.

Civil Emergencies urged to the central and local authorities to take every necessary step and prepare a detailed measures plan in order to cope with this situation.
