Scuffles in Economy Committee, Guards Prevent Physical Clashes

The debate on the vetting bodies’ budget during a meeting of the Economy and Finance Committee on Thursday degenerated into scuffles between the Members of Parliament.

The Socialist MP, Erion Braçe and Democrat MP, Agron Shehaj were involved in a series of comebacks and then the latest tried to comes closer to Braçe and hit him. The prompt intervention of a security officer prevented the situation to degenerates.

The origin of the debate was a declaration made by the Democrat MP, Shehaj who stated that vetting bodies will not be really independent.

Shehaj abandoned the meeting after this harsh debate with Braçe followed by his right wing colleagues who returned a few minutes later.
