Ionian-Adriatic Highway Feasibility Survey Kicks Off

The Ionian-Adriatic highway feasibility survey has already kicked off. This news was given by the Minister of Energetic and Infrastructure, Damian Gjiknuri during a meeting on Tuesday with his Montenegrin counterpart, Osman Nurkovic. Pairs underlined the importance of this survey that is expected to be finalized with a detailed analysis on the investments opportunities and project’s financial costs.
“The Ionian-Adriatic highway, a project of mutual interest, was the main topic of discussion during our meeting. The funds needed for the highway feasibility survey have been allocated and the process has already started,” declared Gjiknuri.
He also forewarned the opening of a joint border-crossing point in Han i Hotit.
“The joint border-crossing point opening will soon finalize the efforts of two governments and the respective institutions,” said Gjiknuri.
