Traditional Dresses Parade in 'Scanderbeg' Square

Various traditional dresses from the 1800’s were presented by the Tirana’s high-school students in ‘Scanderbeg’ square during a parade organized on Friday. This parade, which was organized as part of a project titled “Generations’ Meeting’, successfully finalized the cooperation between ‘Folk Tradition’ foundation and Metropolis Theater. The ‘Tirana’ ensemble was also part of this activity with a concert which amused the audience with folk songs and dances.

The purpose of this project was the youths’ education through cultural heritage elements, dances, and traditional games of Tirana’s region as a precious value of Albanian cultural heritage.

‘Generations’ Meeting’ project saw the participation of 10 high schools of the Albanian capital and also of the hearing impaired student institution and the institute of students with visual impairment.
