Former-Prime Minister Sali Berisha denounces the Elbasan Hospital Director, Desantila Tahiraj for abuses with the duty.
In a public declaration on Friday he referred to a message sent to him by a hospital employee who claims that the director receives bribes that go up to EUR 5000 in exchange for a job place.
"The Elbasan hospital director, appointed in this important position without being subject to any professional evaluation process, demands a bribe of up to EUR 5000 in exchange for a job place. Another shocking fact that proves her abuse of office is the pressure exercised on the employees forcing them to pay sums that vary from ALL 5.000 to ALL 10.000 for decorative works in the hospital premises ahead of a visit by Prime Minister Edi Rama," said Berisha.
In conclusion he stated that according to the citizen who sent this message director Tahiri defends her illicit way of doing through her friendship with Minister of Health Ogerta Manastirliu.
