Emiljano Shullazi's trial session has been postponed. Jani Zaka and Astrit Sinani, two witnesses summoned by the prosecutors of Serious Crimes Court failed to show up on Thursday's session. Witnesses' absence was related to the fact that Zaka is abroad while Sinani is currently under arrest.
Emiljano Shullazi is facing trial on grounds of intimidation against Tirana University Rector Mynyr Koni aiming to prevent him for running for this position. His trial's sessions have been repeatedly postponed recently due to various motives.
A number of high ranks figures have been summoned by the prosecution in quality of witnesses in this process. The former-Interior Minister Sajmir Tahiri testified a few days ago while the former-Prime Minister Berisha is also on the witnesses list in this process.
