SMI, Vasili: Rama, Main Responsible for Drugs Smuggling

The chairman of Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI) parliamentary group, Petrit Vasili blames Premier Edi Rama for country’s gradual transformation into the epicenter of heroin’s trafficking. Referring to a report released on Monday by the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCCDA) which labels Albania as a transit country for the heroin’s trafficking he stated that PM Rama should be held accountable for this negative fact.

“The Albanian Premier will be forever pursued by the responsibility for drugs smuggling as the main promoter of this criminal activity. The clear and direct ascertainment made by EMCCDA evidences country’s major tragedy and PM Rama is the only one to be blamed. He should be hold accountable not only on view of the fact that he did not fought against narcotics cultivation and drugs smuggling but also for obstruction the justice and the actions in defense of those accused by prosecution and parliament of ties with international drugs smuggling,” said Vasili.

Vasili also declared that PM Rama’s long speeches are just a sad continuation of the efforts to elude this responsibility that will also pursue him.
