The former-Prime Minister Sali Berisha denounces his successor Edi Rama and Serbian President Alexander Vucic xenophobe attitude on Presevo. Speaking to journalists after Thursday's parliamentary session he declared that Serbian president is trying to repopulate this region with refugees arriving from other areas of the Balkans and is doing so with PM Rama's full support.
"I strongly denounce the xenophobe attitude of Serbian president Vucic and PM Rama against Albanians in Presevo Valley. Vucic's regime has undertaken a series of xenophobic steps against the Albanians in this valley aiming its repopulation with refugees from other parts of the Balkans. Presevo's leaders have been replaced by his vassals, in a clear violation of constitution and international conventions. Their decisions are now dictated by Belgrade's authorities and are fully supported by PM Rama," declared Berisha.
