Vlahutin, Strong Message to the Politics

The European Union Ambassador Romana Vlahutin addresses a strong message to the politics. Referring to the war against organized crime in Albania during the presentation of "The law's power' project on Tuesday she emphasized the necessity to put an end to the law's exploitation by the criminal organizations.
"The law is equal for everyone, thus it's exploitation for illicit purposes should cease once and forever. The organized crime exists in many countries but is faced with a firm response by the majority of these countries authorities. This is the element that makes the difference, the institutions capacity to fight and punish the crime. Albania does not deserve to be associated with similar individuals," declared Ambassador Vlahutin.
She also urged to the Albanian authorities to use this project, which will see also the participation of FBI officers, transforming it into a decisive forward step toward the rule of law in this country.
"Of course, we can't do your job. Anyhow, we will do everything within our power to enable your success in the war against crime. This is a challenging battle and you need to achieve some irreversible results," stated the EU Ambassador.
