A meeting of the European Integration Committee on Monday degenerated in debates between the majority and opposition’s representatives. A declaration by Democrat MP, Pollo who labeled as offensive the language used by Bushati while addressing to the committee was the motive behind this debate.

“The language used by the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Ditmir Bushati was highly offensive and similar to that of a hooligan,” declared Pollo, referring to an earlier debate with Bushati during the committee’s previous meeting.

His declaration generated the immediate reaction of Socialist MP, Bledi Çuçi who urged Pollo to take back the ‘hooligan’ term.

“You were the one that used offensive word against the minister. If you do not take back this word than it means that you are the real hooligan,” said Çuçi, addressing to Pollo.
